The T John Institute of Technology was found in 2006 under T John Group of Institutions. The mission of the firm is to create and nurture a learning and knowledge-based environment, conducive to the pursuit of quality education which would transform a socially responsible generation to act on their professional values and beliefs. The institute offers five demanding engineering courses.

Candidates applying for B.E in any of the specializations will be selected based on marks obtained in the entrance exam.

The students belonging to the Karnataka region must clear and score a good rank in the Common Entrance Test (CET).

All the other candidates (not belonging to the Karnataka region) must appear in other competitive examinations like Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

It is compulsory for all the candidates who are not from the Karnataka region to attend either one of these competitive examinations and secure a good rank. Although JEE is compulsory for all.

T John Institute of Technology Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply in T John for Engineering programs are given below:

The candidates must have passed 10+2/PUC or 12th standard examination from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics.

Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category get relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks criteria. Such candidates need to secure 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

This minimum marks in 10 + 2 level examination exemption are, although, only applicable to students who are from the Karnataka region.

The candidates must have a good rank in the competitive entrance exam that is used for admission in the program

T John has ranked 13th Best among India Today ranked colleges in Bangalore in 2019 and at the position of 206 on all India basis.
Also ranked 5th Best among Outlook ranked colleges in Bangalore in 2019 and secured a position of 63 in all India basis.
